What matters before you buy

For bag work and sparring, ask your coach which glove type and weight are appropriate. A snug fit, secure wrist support and durable stitching matter more than a brand name. Hand wraps should sit flat without cutting off circulation; replace damaged wraps and gloves rather than training through a poor fit.

Check the activity the seller recommends for each glove. A product described for fitness bag sessions may not be suitable for partner drills. If you train at a club, its rules may determine what equipment you can bring to class. Try gloves on with wraps if possible; a size that feels fine with bare hands can feel cramped once wrapped.

Three checks

  1. Match the equipment to your training activity.
  2. Check sizing, return terms and delivery country with the seller.
  3. Compare the total cost, including shipping, before checkout.

Make a useful shortlist

Start with the items you will actually use in the next month: wraps, a pair of gloves suited to your sessions and, if your gym requires it, protective gear. Compare two or three products by material, closure, sizing guidance and warranty. A discounted item is not good value if it cannot be returned after you find that it does not fit.

For a home bag, first check the mounting instructions, ceiling or wall suitability, space around the bag and delivery weight. Ask a qualified installer if the structure is uncertain. A freestanding bag avoids mounting but still needs enough floor space and a stable base.

Before checkout

Open the seller's current page to verify the exact model, colour and size, delivery country, tax and final price. Products change faster than editorial guides, so our links point to the seller for current terms. We do not claim to have tested an item unless the listing explicitly says how it was tested.
